Exploring Molecular Shapes Lab

1.) the question we were answering was "How does the number of things around a central atom affect the shape of a molecule?"
2.) we ran simulations on an IPad so that we could predict the shape of a molecule based on the number of atoms and lone electron pairs
3.) Claim: the more things added to a molecule will cause the angles to become smaller
evidence: single, double, and triple bonds all have the same effect on the bond shape
Justification: the impact of the bonding pair on the shape of the molecule is the same. not matter if it's a single, double or a triple bond.
